Big Issue Invest have launched the CSV (Corporate Social Venturing) Programme 2015. The initiative is an innovative partnership between Big Issue Invest and Barclays, with investment and support from five partners: Experian, First Ark, Fusion 21, Places for People and The University of Northampton.

The programme is specifically tailored for early-stage social businesses operating in England with an emphasis on recruiting applicants outside London and the South-East (80% desired target). While you do not have to be trading, proof of concept is essential.

The CSV programme is a collaborative competition where if successful upon application, you will be matched with mentors from our pool of experienced corporate & support partners. Together with mentors, Big Issue Invest and fellow CSV participants, you will work on; business plans, finance models and social impact measurement.

Upon completion of the mentoring period you will have the exciting opportunity to pitch for £50K from an investment committee.

You will also gain access to an abundance of networks from the corporate world and within the social sector where Big Issue Invest has a long-standing reputation and successful track record. Participation in CSV will not only help you scale up your business, you will develop long-lasting connections that continue long after your pitch is over. Interested?
