Isansys is developing the Patient Status Engine (PSE), a scalable, low cost wireless patient monitoring platform that provides continuous real-time vital sign data that is automatically and continuously uploaded to an electronic patient record.
The objective of this project is to upgrade and extend the first generation PSE to produce a product that is sufficiently powerful and low cost to allow any and every patient to have multiple vital sign data acquisition and analysis monitored continuously and in real time, in hospital or at home.

Project Early (remote) warning system
Description

Sepsis is a more common reason for hospital admission than heart attack and has a higher mortality. A well-defined group of patients at risk of sepsis is cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. Isansys is developing an early (remote) warning system to provide notifications to clinical teams of sepsis early in the 72-hour period during which the condition becomes critical.
