Message Dynamics is a leading provider of patient messaging services which are successfully used by the NHS to improve patient medication compliance and reduce unnecessary hospital admissions, as well as by pharmacies to alert a patient when a repeat prescription is due and when the medicine is ready for collection. Its new service, the Automated Medicines Adherence Triage will support patients with prescriptions for a new medicine by asking a number of questions via a smartphone to assess the level of support required which can then be provided by the pharmacist.

Project Outpatient Monitor using a patient's own phone, either a landline or a mobile, to remotely monitor recovery and wellbeing
Description

Outpatient Monitor, developed by Message Dynamics, uses a patient’s own phone, either landline or mobile, to remotely monitor recovery and wellbeing. By sending an automatically generated phone call, or messages to a smartphone, clinicians will be able to ask the same questions that they would otherwise ask in a face to face setting without the patient needing to travel.
