PocDoc’s unique and ground-breaking technology allows users with a smartphone and the PocDoc app to deliver an accurate, quantitative blood test for major diseases within minutes - along with a digital health assessment and immediate sharing of results back with the relevant healthcare authorities. PocDoc’s lipid test is the first in an ambitious product roadmap that will see the company move into the detection of diabetes, kidney and liver diseases, female hormone imbalance, and more.
PocDoc is backed by the NHS Digital Health Accelerator programme and secured $3M in Seed funding from major VC funds Forward Partners and MMC Ventures, as well as notable angel investors William Reeve (founder of Lovefilm) and Daniel Nathrath (Founder of healthtech unicorn Ada Health). On 28th September 2022, PocDoc won the 2022 Global Heart Health Catalyst Biome Award run by Novartis UK and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation at the HETT Show 2022 Digital Health Summit. The company is also working with PATH, a global NGO, which is using PocDoc’s technology aid the eradication of polio in the developing world.
