| Project | An organ-on-a-chip platform to model personalised embryo implantation and improve subfertility associated with chronic gynaecological disease |
|---|---|
| Description |
Our technology uses engineering approaches to create cell-based models of human organs and disease, mimicking different aspects of human organ function. Using this approach, we have developed a technological platform to make testing of drug treatments more relevant to the individual. We can apply the technology to different human diseases, with a current focus on oncology, immune-oncology and women’s health, particularly in the areas of embryo implantation, and precision fertility. Overall, our technology offers technological solutions for producing better drugs, reduce reliance on animal models and accelerate the development of personalised treatments. |
