Tend VR represents an innovative digital health solution that delivers a Virtual Reality Mindfulness Based Intervention, strongly informed by Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Designed to treat depression and anxiety, the technology offers a scalable, engaging alternative to conventional therapies. Feasibility studies with 95 participants demonstrated clinically reliable improvements, with baseline mean PHQ-9 scores reduced from 13.97 to 6.32 and a robust Cohen’s d effect size of 1.49, indicating substantial clinical benefit. The project aims to transform mental health care, by enhancing accessibility, reducing costs, and aligning with evidence-based practice. |
