haPPIE: SHE Cares project aims to enhance mental health support for Black and Ethnically
Minoritized (BEM) women during the perinatal period (from pregnancy to one year postpartum). We seek to address the causes of low engagement and treatment rates among BEM women, who are at higher risk for mental health challenges. Our goal is to validate a new way of joining up culturally sensitive digital tools with existing community-based services, creating resources that explain mental health support better so women can get the help they need faster and in a way that suits them.
