The Real Birth Digital Workshop™ is interactive, user friendly, animated, and easily accessible. It has audio guides in several languages, currently taking women through 72 lessons over 9 modules on the various stages of labour to support their birth planning.
The development of this application provides more women with access to essential information, reduces exclusion, and supports midwives to have more personalised conversations about birth choices with women and people in their care. This digital application is available on any digital device, through their personal digital maternity record or a via a unique code issued by their midwife.

The creation and development of this digital module will help people understand and prepare for what to expect in a premature birth, including why their birth may be different and the neonatal journey. The aim is to reduce the associated fear and stress in labour, supporting perinatal mental health. |
