The Digital Health Passport is an asthma self-management app co-designed with young people and NHS specialists; aligned to clinical guidelines (NICE, BTS/SIGN, GINA) to improve asthma control. MYPASS will measure the impact of the platform on asthma attacks, unscheduled care and steroid use and evaluate three user engagement strategies (Nurse-led, Social Media and NHS Comms).
MYPASS will deliver:
Smarter asthma plans with signposting from symptom trackers.
Improved medication adherence - repeat prescriptions, medication reminders, inhaler videos.
Trigger avoidance - air quality alerts, allergy education.
Knowledge - seven core modules with regular reinforcement.
Improved patient activation - skills, knowledge and confidence to self-manage.

The Digital Health Passport for Epilepsy is a comprehensive digital service being developed by Tiny Medical Apps and Young Epilepsy. It empowers young people to better manage their epilepsy through evidence-based features including medication reordering, seizure tracking, and trigger avoidance tools. Voice control and accessible design ensure equity of access for users with learning disabilities. The platform will integrate with NHS systems to enhance care coordination. Already successful across 10 NHS regions for asthma management, this solution is designed to scale to support the 100,000 young people managing epilepsy in their lives in the UK, with a particular focus on addressing health inequalities in underserved communities. |
