Conflicts of Interest Register
Background
SBRI Healthcare is an NHS England funded initiative, led by the Eastern Academic Health Science Network and overseen by the SBRI Healthcare programme management board.
As with other NHS organisations, the SBRI Healthcare programme management board needs to adopt a transparent policy in line with the Nolan principles of public accountability.
The Nolan Principles (appendix A) apply to the work of the public sector and require:

Integrity
Objectivity
Accountability
Openness
Honesty
Leadership
The SBRI Healthcare programme management board is also likely to receive commercially sensitive information which may require the board to have additional recorded duties and public accountabilities. Conflicts of interest register sets out how the SBRI Healthcare programme management board should deal with matters of confidentiality and conflicts of interest.
