PUFFClicker3 is an Internet-of-Things-connected universal Smart Inhaler Dose Tracker for metered dose and dry powder inhalers. PUFFClicker3 connects to the Asthma+me platform for children and young people (CYP) at high risk of further asthma attacks who are already being seen in Outpatient clinics by a Consultant Paediatrician and to Active+me REMOTE for adults with respiratory health conditions.
In SBRI Healthcare Competition 23, Phase 1, Children and Young People will be asked how this PUFFClicker3 could be used to help them better manage their asthma and how this could be deployed in the Community near to where they live.

Exhale-Dx represents an innovative diagnostic breath test platform adept at predicting asthma attacks and effectively monitoring asthma control. By harnessing artificial intelligence Exhale-Dx meticulously analyzes breath samples for biomarkers, offering a non-invasive and early-detection solution for various respiratory conditions. Our ongoing project focuses on adapting Exhale-Dx for pediatric use, aiming to expand its global reach. This device holds the potential to identify asthma exacerbations before they escalate. Particularly in underserved communities, where access to healthcare may be limited, early detection can mitigate the need for emergency room visits and hospitalisations, thus reducing health disparities through timely intervention.

The Digital Health Passport, from Tiny Medical Apps makes managing long-term conditions easier, smarter and more effective. It has been co-designed with young people, carers and clinical specialists. Now implemented in ten NHS ICS regions the technology is demonstrating improved asthma outcomes and expanding out to cover epilepsy, sickle cell disease and other long-term conditions that start in childhood. The Digital Health Passport can authenticate patients with NHS login and provide access to NHS APIs such as medication reordering, GP summary record view and on-line appointment booking. The Digital Health Passport is broadening its reach to support more young people with long-term conditions and improve accessibility for young people with mild to moderate learning difficulties. The project brings the together Tiny Medical Apps, the Young Epilepsy Charity and the Caribbean and African Health Network to develop ground breaking technology for people with epilepsy.
