The theme of this competition was ‘General Practice of the future’ and within this topic three categories were identified via review of key policy documents.
The competition brief was developed by identifying crosscutting themes from the work of national bodies including NHS England, Royal College of General Practitioners, and Primary Care Workforce Commission; then testing and taking the lead from challenges identified at a national level in conjunction with consultation with primary care clinicians and other key stakeholders working at the forefront of general practice.
This competition was led by West of England, South West and Eastern Academic Health Science Networks.
