Project Diagnostic Optimisation: A digital platform to support efficient test selection
Description

DiagOp aims to map laboratory demand and reduce cost by identifying unwarranted service demand. We also aim to discover if the reduction of unwarranted demand could lead to improved service quality and reduce pressures on diagnostic services without buying cheaper products and creating an overall net zero effect. This will also be used to identify if the optimised selection to diagnostic test improves diagnostic accuracy and shortens the patient’s pathway.
