Project Care Tracker - automatic care quality assurance - hospital to home
Description

Veraz develop products that enable businesses to ensure their staff adhere to best practice protocols. This project further develops Veraz’s touch monitoring technology to incorporate detection of person-to-person physical contact using portable devices with a small form factor. Care Tracker enables the detection and analysis of physical contact between a healthcare worker and a patient and has significant implications for the monitoring of care procedures to increase the quality of patient care in any environment from hospital to home.

The Learning Clinic

Project I.M.P.Act study_ Improving monitoring in paediatrics & action
Description

The Learning Clinic is developing VitalPAC to monitor and record patient’s vital signs. Nursing staff rapidly familiarised themselves with the technology with the time to document critical information quicker than with paper charts and errors are reduced. User acceptability is high.

Isansys

Project Every patient monitored: scalable, low cost multiple vital sign patient-data acquisition and analysis platform
Description

Isansys is developing the Patient Status Engine (PSE), a scalable, low cost wireless patient monitoring platform that provides continuous real-time vital sign data that is automatically and continuously uploaded to an electronic patient record.
The objective of this project is to upgrade and extend the first generation PSE to produce a product that is sufficiently powerful and low cost to allow any and every patient to have multiple vital sign data acquisition and analysis monitored continuously and in real time, in hospital or at home.
